I Can’t Smile Without You

20120928-162506.jpg

The air that I breathe;
The rainbow that brightens my day;
The summer breeze that warms my cheeks;
The dream that keeps me going;
The delight of my eyes;
The music of my soul;
The joy of my heart;
My loyal fan;
My best friend;
My faithful lover;
My fantasy;
My reality;
My life;
My everything,
Is YOU!
And that’s how big your role in my life!
Without you,
I can’t smile,
Neither, grin.
Without you,
Life has no meaning.
Without you,
I can’t go on living.

Loving You

Morning,
Noon,
And night
I think of you;

Dreaming
Not just at night,
But in broad daylight too.

As I am really praying
For every good thing
We’ll share our whole “life” through.

Movies, with or without popcorn;
Walking, be along the beach,
At the mall, or busy streets;
Dining, in candlelights or “cheap eats;”
Cocktail, with or without *pupu,
I think, I am fine with those too.
Coz I just wanna be with you.

Though I have nothing grand to offer you,
My Boo,
Rest assured,
I will always be here for you,
Not just as a lover,
But your best friend too!

Being with you,
Is all I wanna do,
My Baby Boo,
I so love you!

*pupu (Hawaiian) means appetizer.

A Love To Last A Lifetime

20120924-035236.jpg

The feeling beyond completing an empty soul,
But fills inside and out.
The feeling beyond being valued,
But cherished so preciously.
The feeling beyond being respected,
But honored at all times.
The feeling beyond being hoped,
But prayed for so fervently.
The feeling beyond being adored,
But wanted unconditionally.
The feeling beyond being dreamed of,
But ached for so ardently.
To love
And be loved
Always and forever–
Aren’t the rudiments,
But the powers of love
That last a lifetime.

Still Falling

Love and relationship

Are two different things.

Ours? Yes, we’ve love.

Actually, we’ve love so deeply

That we forgot

To commit ourselves faithfully

To each other.

But relationship?

Forgive me,

It’s questionable.

Hampered by our past,

We both refused

To commit

To our love.

And that is

The saddest part of it.

You didn’t wrong me,

And I didn’t wrong you.

But we wronged our love.

Yes,

It’s all water under the bridge.

Yes,

We did manage to get by.

Yes,

We even managed

To smile,

To laugh with others

As we head apart.

But every now and then,

A voice inside

Keeps confronting me:

“How could you?”

Because even now

We keep saying our love is gone,

Tears still fall

When I think of you.

I Defy: Gravity

Something changed in me,
I’m tired of playing games.
I’m defying gravity.

Take it or leave it,
It’s my call; my choice, to rise
Should have done before.

I have mines, and you
Have your own. Mutual respect,
Isn’t hard at all.

So, kiss me goodbye,
I’m defying gravity;
Goodbye fantasy!

Poetry

Let Pain Pain

When pain is overwhelming,
No word can appease
A heart drenched in tears.

When hurt and humiliation exceeds
One’s being,
Forgiveness may remain divine.

Because, no matter how much we’ve loved:
Everything, and all of us
Have limits and boundaries.

And there are wounds
That can’t be healed over time–
Not all are visible.
