Our hearts are barely the same size as our fists;
But their capacity to love
Is as infinite as the sky.

Our hearts are barely the same size as our fists;
But their capacity to love
Is as infinite as the sky.
Describe a risk you took that you do not regret.
It was tough being alone and starting anew;
But amid all risks and sacrifices,
Coming to the United States,
Taking and graduating from my undergraduate degrees—
And soon be taking my M. B. A.—
I have all the reasons to be so thankful,
Not just for being in the U.S.,
but in Hawaii in particular.
I love these islands,
I now call home.
Thank You, God!

It takes an open
Heart and mind to appreciate
beauty as a whole.
What makes you nervous?
Just the thought of a colony
Gives me goosebumps.
The most notorious to me:
Fire ants.

You’re bringing back
Something that belongs to the past.
Then you end
up questioning yourself—
Questions make you cringe—
Because you still
don’t have the
answers to the many
whys, what . . . how.
So instead
You turn to
Nice and warm reminiscing ,
a familiar ache comes back
Bringing both good and bad
And the wanting
That’s haunting
And so with
The whys, what. . . how.
How do you use social media?
To mingle;
To exchange sharing of passion, or ideas and etcetera—
With the hopes of building friendship along the way.
Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

America was—
And still is—the best idea.
A true divine force.
North Star of the Free
World, It puts its trust in God—
What a blessed union!

From the sky so blue,
Mirroring the ocean too,
To the lushes of green and morning dew,
Then the beaming moon and bright stars too,
And the happy fireflies I dare not shoo-—
I see every beauty in this world
Because of you.
