Sense of Gratitude

Revised

Two thumbs-up to Heaven
For each and everyone—
No sweat,
To be a thankful one.

Try put the tiny
On a petri dish to see—
It is just as grand.

List, chino thangs,
Stuffed turkeys, cards,
notes, calls—everything counts!

When hope is on the ground,
Check pulse—
Hear, you are a lucky one!

Because gratitude,
In its truest sense—
Count each and everyone,
And everything–
In hand or not–
Fill in the blanks.

So much blanks.

  1. Beautiful sentiment, Aina. “Because gratitude, In its truest sense — Count each and everyone, And everything– In hand or not– Fill in the blanks.” And yes, so many, many, blanks 🙂 Take care ~
