Nature’s Moral Stories XI

When the man in mirror
Is missing; Would you break in?
To find him?
And the error?

One long
Ongoing politics,
Is that of book covers and pages.
Oh, vanity of title!

Folly to say
You see one’s soul
By mere eye-to-eye.
The biggest lie is love at first sight.

Because the paradox of eyes
Is that though,
It’s the sense of seeing—
It is fundamentally limiting.

Close it.
One, two, three. . .
Alas! Profoundness and meaning—
Understanding is ready for the taking.
