To live beyond the numbers

What principles define how you live?

They’ll tally your worth in lines and rows,
Mark your successes by how high they go.
A grade on a paper, a figure on scales,
The numbers scream loudly, but they tell only tales.

But I refuse to be boxed, defined, or confined,
By digits that cage the expanse of my mind.
The heart I pour into each uphill fight,
Speaks volumes beyond what’s seen in plain sight.

For it’s not the score but the spark in your stride,
The fire that flickers though storms may collide.
Diligence carved in the creases of toil,
Tenacity grown from the depths of the soil.

You press through the night when the world seems asleep,
Sowing seeds of a promise you’re destined to reap.
Not measured in sums or pinned to a chart,
But written in love and the will of your heart.

Compassion shapes every act you embrace,
A quiet strength that time cannot erase.
For kindness endures when numbers decay,
And perseverance will carry the weary halfway.

When the road gets steep, and failure is near,
Remember the courage that conquered your fear.
It’s the journey endured, not the points in the race,
That carve out the legacy time won’t replace.

At the close of it all, when the curtain must fall,
No weight can be placed on the worth of your call.
No scale can hold what your soul gave away,
No sum can define what your heart chose to say.

In the end, it’s not measures but meaning that shows,
For the seeds of your best are the ones that will grow.
And though victory bends to the winds of the unknown,
When you give it your all, the best is your own.

Vincent Van Gogh

Who are your favorite artists?

Most commonly known as Van Gogh, his works are a powerful testament to the intensity of human emotion, the beauty of the natural world, and the complexities of artistic innovation. His paintings, characterized by bold colors, thick brushstrokes, and an emotive use of light, offer a unique visual language that has captivated viewers for over a century. Van Gogh’s ability to infuse raw emotion into his landscapes and portraits sets him apart from many of his contemporaries. Works like Starry Night and Sunflowers demonstrate his mastery in translating the mundane into the transcendent, using vivid color contrasts and swirling forms to evoke both wonder and melancholy.

Van Gogh’s Starry Night is perhaps one of the most recognizable and beloved paintings in the world. Its swirling sky and the haunting glow of the stars reflect his inner turmoil, yet the piece still radiates a sense of awe. This tension between beauty and madness is a hallmark of Van Gogh’s style, making his works deeply introspective yet universally resonant.

Despite his posthumous fame, Van Gogh was largely unappreciated during his lifetime, selling few works and struggling with mental health issues. His style was unconventional for his time, often dismissed for its expressive intensity. However, it is precisely this intensity that makes his art so enduring. His distinctive brushwork—often applied with visible, almost sculptural strokes—imbues his paintings with a palpable energy, making them feel alive. His works transcend mere visual representation, delving into the emotional and psychological realms.

In sum, Van Gogh’s legacy lies in his ability to convey the beauty and pain of existence with a distinct artistic vision. His works challenge traditional notions of beauty and reality, leaving an indelible mark on the art world and influencing generations of artists. Through his art, Van Gogh invites viewers not only to see the world differently but to feel it more deeply.

Writing and Me

What is your favorite hobby or pastime?

I write because within the words I find
A place to pour my soul, my heart, my mind.
It’s more than just a pastime, just a task,
In every line, I wear no mask.

To write is to reveal the depths of me,
A bridge between what is and what could be.
I pen my truths in ink, so they may land
On other hearts, as tender as my hand.

It is my joy, my pride, my highest aim,
In each creation, I am born again.
Not seeking fame like Shakespeare’s hallowed name,
Nor Dickinson’s quiet, whispered claim,
But as a lover, ardent, fierce, and true,
Of language, words, and what they dare to do.

Through writing, I am relevant, I stand,
A voice that holds the pen within my hand.
It is my worth, my power, my release,
My way to find a gentle, lasting peace.

In every sentence, woven, strong, or frail,
I share a piece of me, my every tale.
And though I write not for the grand applause,
I know my words can fight a quiet cause.

I write to make a difference, small, but bright,
To add a little warmth, a little light.
For in these letters, crafted from my soul,
I know I’ve found the truest sense of whole.

Writing True

I came empty to this world;

What would you do if you lost all your possessions?

I can leave or live empty.

I am not attached to any material.

Neither, I am not scared to start anew.

I am grateful for every chance.

A Meaningful Blogging

What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

Blogging can be a powerful tool for sharing ideas, building connections, and influencing others. However, blogging meaningfully—creating content that resonates with our readers, provides genuine value, and leaves a lasting impact—requires more than just the ability to write. It demands authenticity, purpose, perseverance, and an understanding of our audience. Meaningful blogging is not just about attracting readers; it’s about fostering a community, contributing positively, and continually pushing oneself to grow and improve.

1. Authenticity: Building Trust Through Genuine Connection

At the heart of meaningful blogging is authenticity. Readers today are adept at sensing when our content lacks sincerity. They are drawn to bloggers who share their true selves—their passions, struggles, and unique perspectives. Authenticity helps build trust, which is essential for fostering a loyal readership. When we write from the heart, readers feel a genuine connection and are more likely to return for future content.

Authenticity requires courage. Blogging about our personal experiences, our beliefs, even our challenges can be intimidating, but it is often these personal stories that resonate the most. Bloggers who are willing to be vulnerable and honest in our writing set ourselves apart from those who write merely to attract clicks or sell products. Authentic blogging takes a willingness to be open, even when it’s uncomfortable, and it’s this openness that creates a meaningful impact.

2. Purpose: Having a Clear Reason for Blogging

Meaningful blogging requires a clear sense of purpose. A purpose-driven blog is focused and intentional, guiding both content creation and audience engagement. Blogging with purpose means understanding why we blog and what we hope to achieve. Whether it’s educating our readers on a specific topic, advocating for a cause, or sharing unique insights, having a clear purpose adds depth and direction to our blogs.

A blog with purpose not only helps our readers understand what to expect but also keeps us, blogger motivated. Blogging can be challenging, and without a defined purpose, it’s easy to lose motivation or feel adrift. However, when we are driven by a purpose, we are more likely to persevere through challenges and continue producing content that matters. Purpose serves as our compass, guiding our content creation and ensuring that it remains meaningful over time.

3. Perseverance: Overcoming Challenges and Staying Committed

Blogging meaningfully is not a quick or easy process. It requires perseverance and a long-term commitment. It can take months or even years to build an audience, especially in a saturated market. We, bloggers often face setbacks, from fluctuating readership and income (I personally don’t monetize my blogging, which is a personal choice from the start) instability to negative feedback and creative blocks. To blog meaningfully, we must be resilient and persistent.

Perseverance also means committing to continuous improvement. Meaningful bloggers strive to grow our skills, whether it’s improving our writing, learning about SEO, or mastering new platforms. We understand and take into serious consideration that growth takes time and effort, and we must be willing to invest both in order to create content that truly resonates. This commitment to improvement not only benefits our blogging, but also enhances the value we provide to our valued readers.

4. Understanding our Audience: Creating Content that Resonates

To blog meaningfully, it is essential to understand and engage with our audience. Meaningful bloggers take the time to know our readers’ needs, interests, and preferences. We listen to feedback, answer questions, and we actively engage in conversations. This connection with our readers is what sets a meaningful blog apart from one that merely seeks to attract views.

Understanding our audience also helps us create content that truly resonates. When we are attuned to our readers, we can craft posts that address specific questions, solve problems, or offer inspiration. This responsiveness creates a sense of community and makes our readers feel valued. Meaningful bloggers understand that blogging is a two-way street, and we prioritize building relationships over accumulating page views.

5. Contributing Positively: Blogging with Impact

Finally, meaningful blogging is about making a positive contribution. Whether we aim to inspire, to educate, or to entertain, our contents should leave our readers better off in some way. This might mean exchanging views, sharing uplifting stories, or raising awareness about important issues. Meaningful bloggers consider the impact of our words and strive to create content that benefits our readers and the broader community.

Contributing positively also involves maintaining integrity and ethics. Being meaningful bloggers, we are mindful of the influence we wield and use it responsibly. We avoid spreading misinformation, prioritize accuracy, and we are transparent about any sponsorships or partnerships. By blogging ethically, we reinforce the trust we’ve built with our readers and ensure that the impact is a positive one.

Conclusion: Meaningful Blogging is a Journey of Growth and Connection

Blogging meaningfully is not just about creating content; it’s about creating connections, making a positive impact, and staying true to oneself. It requires authenticity, purpose, perseverance, and a genuine commitment to serving our audience. For those willing to put in the effort, meaningful blogging can be incredibly rewarding, both personally and for the readers it touches. It is a journey that demands hard work but offers the chance to contribute positively to the world and build lasting relationships along the way.

Quite a few times

Tell us about a time when you felt out of place.

Feeling out of place is a universal experience. Whether it’s being the newcomer at school, feeling like the odd one out in a group of friends, or struggling to find my footing in a new job, the discomfort of not belonging can be overwhelming. However, I realized that overcoming this sense of displacement is not only possible but also transformative. It teaches resilience, adaptability, and self-awareness, turning what initially feels like a weakness into a strength.

At the heart of overcoming a sense of not fitting in is the realization that belonging starts from within. Often, we place too much importance on external validation—on fitting into predefined boxes set by society, peer groups, or even our own expectations. However, true belonging comes from embracing our uniqueness. Instead of focusing on how different we are from others, we can shift our perspective and appreciate the qualities that set us apart. This shift in mindset doesn’t happen overnight, but it starts with self-acceptance. When we begin to see our individuality as an asset rather than a hindrance, we start to feel more grounded, even in unfamiliar environments.

Another key to overcoming the feeling of being out of place is cultivating curiosity and openness. Being in a new situation often means being surrounded by unfamiliar faces, ideas, or customs. Instead of retreating into our “shells,” approaching these situations with curiosity can create opportunities for growth. We can ask questions, learn about others’ perspectives, and engage with our surroundings in a way that is genuine. This not only helps bridge the gap between us and others but also broadens our understanding of the world. In time, what once felt foreign becomes familiar, and we might find ourselves more adaptable to new environments.

Community plays an essential role in overcoming feelings of displacement. While finding the right community may take time, actively seeking out spaces where we feel more aligned is crucial. Whether it’s a hobby, a cultural group, or a professional circle, surrounding ourselves with like-minded people can make a significant difference. These are the people who will help reinforce the idea that we do belong—perhaps not in every space, but certainly in some. The right community will validate our experiences and encourage our personal growth.

However, there are moments when the feeling of being out of place lingers, despite efforts to adapt or find community. In these moments, it’s essential to remember that discomfort often accompanies growth. The process of finding one’s place is rarely linear. There will be setbacks and challenges, but these experiences offer valuable lessons. Overcoming the feeling of displacement often comes down to resilience—the ability to keep moving forward, even when the path is unclear.

Ultimately, overcoming the sensation of being out of place is a journey of self-discovery. It is about learning to navigate discomfort, trusting our abilities to adapt, and finding strength in our individuality. As we continue to grow, the very experiences that once made us feel disconnected may become the foundation for a deeper sense of belonging. We learn that, while we may not always fit in every space, we always have the power to create our own.

Peaceful,

Your life without a computer: what does it look like?

But hard.

However, reality is: Computer is not going away. Technology has been a part of humanity. In fact, it has been a part of our lives since the antiquity of time.

Definitely, there would be advancement. Take for example the presence of artificial intelligence (AI). Also, our fondness and heavy reliance on smart phones. Likewise, the invincible role of Internet in our lives. Those make computer even more indispensable.

Imagining our lives without computer is unrealistic and borderline hypocrisy. You can take a break from it, but to shun its presence and significance, is not viable.
