Yonder in the Dark

. . . is a frigid heart

where cold blood flows, strange to love

unknown to kindness.

Bigotry freezes

the heart as arrogance do.

Love, stay afloat.

Happy Valentine’s Day

. . . can skip the dinner,

. . . can skip the Pandora too;

But not the flowers.

. . . can skip the buffet,

. . . can skip anything from Kay,

. . . not the chocolates.

. . . can skip the flowers

and the chocolates . . . but don’t

Forget the kisses.

Love is in the air—

May it stays there—and in our

Hearts through lifetime.

Her at the Desert

@Lyrics, Sentiments and Me, February 9, 2024

She sailed the desert

Where the sunset’s yellow and

Her heartbeat echoes.

X Is Enough

A pierce in her heart

so deep it goes through her soul,

And he’s fine, so fine.

Teardrop in her heart

Pain and ache scourging her soul

And he’s fine, so fine.

Broken promises,

Shattered dreams, torn heart, ripped soul,

Goodbye is useless.

The Burning Earth

The Home is burning

Conclusively it’s arson

Arsonists, we all

No guilt and justice

For remorseless arsonists

Losing the poor Home

Perhaps charcoal is

More important than the Home

Impoverished choice!

Kona Wind

When are you leaving?

Stuffy nose keep me sneezing;

Vog sucks the breathing.

Why you leave the south?

Stay there so trade winds come back

Tough with you around.

Kona wind, hear my plea

I can’t breathe, wish you can see

Vog is killing me.

Almost

Though how many million times I’ve convinced myself of the reality; I still cry for our dream never meant to come true.

We did not even

Survived fall; we never get

To winter at all.

Yes, you are in a

Place so cold, below zero

The news just said so.

But blame not the snow,

The blizzards, chills, and cold winds

Destiny’ not lost.

AI looked, sounded

So real, I did bet my all.

So naive—stupid.

I deserved the blows:

I bought the poems and emails,

Even all the songs.

The hardest thing to

Forget, is the one that you

never get—it haunts.

It’s Just Winter in Hawai’i

High winds are knocking

Out trees—what a one way bout!

No ring, and no gloves.

Outage here and there;

No wifi, no LTE?

What about 5G?

Sky is pale and sad—

Such a bummer for tourists:

No sun, no warm beach.

Is aloha at large?

Nah.
