I am not sure what a brand new year means to you. But I am confident that there are a lot of people who want to better themselves for the new year. And most often than not, they call it resolution.
The challenge with “resolution,” is that it’s a self-imposed to do. And any imposition carries a burden, which makes it harder to carry through.
Moreover, if you make it a wish, you aggravate the impossibility, as you would rely on some luck, or magic, or miracle to happen. So better yet, skip the labeling and just do it (as Nike says). Strive to make it an everyday thing or part of your routine.
With that said, I want to get back to creativity. I feel like God has given me a gift and I am not using it—my bad! It doesn’t have to be grand like as if I’m aiming for Pulitzer or Nobel, nor any accolades.
Maybe a thought, a poem, a picture, a song, a musing, or a prayer—whatever! The goal is 365 of brand new meaningful content—each day—with a hope of living my best life and bettering myself in 2024.
And so here goes my first!
