God, My Rock and Fortress

Share a lesson you wish you had learned earlier in life.

When storms arise and skies grow dark,
I find my shelter in Your spark.
A steadfast rock, my solid ground,
In You, O Lord, my hope is found.

When waves of fear come crashing in,
You lift me high, my soul within.
A fortress strong, no foe can breach,
In Your embrace, I find my peace.

Through valleys deep and shadows near,
Your presence drives away my fear.
My refuge in each trying hour,
Your strength alone, my mighty tower.

O God, my Rock, forever be,
The place of rest, my sanctuary.
In every trial, I will stand,
Held firmly in Your guiding hand.
