Relentless Hope

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭13‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/111/pro.13.12.NIV

In the silent dawn before the light,
When shadows cling and dreams take flight,
A whisper stirs within the soul,
A flame that fights to stay whole.

Through storms that rage and rivers wide,
When every step feels like a slide,
Hope stands tall, a steady hand,
Guiding hearts across the land.

It’s in the quiet tear that falls unseen,
In solemn prayers and spaces between,
Where doubt may sprout, but hope remains,
A golden thread through all the pains.

Relentless hope, a force so strong,
In darkest night, it hums a song,
Of brighter days, of battles won,
Of skies that break with rising sun.

So hold it close, this hope so fierce,
It mends the wounds that life may pierce,
And when the world feels far too steep,
Let hope awaken from its sleep.

        1. Thank you 🙏 I recited my own poem during that time, coz it was a slam poetry. But my poem (find the page “In this Paradise Called Hawaii”) is like a ballad. Modesty aside, intentionally I recited it with calmness and reverence, because I am thankful to God for bringing me here in Hawaii. Aloha made me a better person. I write well, because I have amazing English teachers, who not only taught me a lot, but they inspired and encouraged me too.
