For hours,
We kept each other’s company:
We basked in the silver sun.
We played with the turquoise ripples kissing my toes like an ardent man.
We managed to get by as drifters rescued by the white and golden sands.
We hardly noticed the sun turned orange,
It was fast going down;
And the blue ripples were slowly gone,
My toes gone beige.
My fingers ended purple.
She remained pink in divinity.
She was supple lilac in majesty.
Though I knew,
Soon she’d wilt in brown . . .
But at that moment,
She looked fragile and lifeless;
And I sounded fierce and tough
However, our skins spoke better-
And it was simply a fact.

ヽ(´ー`)ノ Aww…you sounded very relax in this piece…cool!! Keep it up, my friend! Cheers!! 😀
Im a water person, Wendy. And the ocean has that amazing power to infect me of its serenity.
I love the ocean, but I don’t dare to swim in the sea, only in swimming pools…hehe…but even now, swimming is not an option for me…*sigh*…
But still, I am fine with just dipping my feet into it…hehe…
Glad to know you’ve found serenity in those vast pool of water that make up almost 70% of the earth’s surface…so, have a wonderful weekend ahead, always!
CHEERS!! 😀
Just walking barefooted on the sands, gives me a sense of peace. 😊 Aloha Wends, thank u!

I love the music of Kalapan. I first heard them in the 80s and then hunted down their music when I visited Oahu in 2000. Thanks for the good memories. 🙂
Me too, their songs mostly calms me. Thank you!
