Guiltless Indulgence

Shivering to Bliss

Tender limbs quiver,
as bewhiskered slithers.

. . . giving in to the caver;
. . . retreating to the burrower:

quavering,
mewling,

while abandoning morals
and relinquishing principles–

helplessly conceding to an ache that dominates;
feebly letting love and hate collide–

as two ravenous give in
to a passion burning deep inside.

    1. It was actually one of my very old compositions, Brad. And just like many of my post recently: I made minor changes and reposted it (since I barely had a time to write) just to keep my blog up and running amid busy schedule. But thank you for the kind support and continued friendship!
