Living in Hawaii

Describe your most memorable vacation.

. . . every weekend is a memorable vacation.

White sand beaches,

Weather that’s better than summer,

People who are warm and welcoming—

Aloha is real—

Plus the spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean,

And comforting foods from very diversed cultures—

There’s nothing like it in the world.

Just in Waikiki alone,

There’s a vibe that you won’t feel

From anywhere.

I’ve been to four states,

But truly, none can compare

To this paradise

I call home.

When out of nearly eight billion people in the world:

What’s your definition of romantic?

And he’s all that matters to you.

And the clock stops ticking

Because you’re locked in his arms.

When his smiles are your joy and happiness—

And he completes you.

He’s the song your heart sings,

your sunrise and sunset

And everything in between.

By Being Grateful

How do you express your gratitude?

Be anxious of nothing.

Be peaceful with everything.

Be angry of no one.

Be happy with loved ones.

Be pessimistic of none.

Be optimistic with what’s done.

Be ungrateful of no way.

Be appreciative all the way.

Be thankless of not a single day.

Be thankful everyday.

For being thankful,

Is seeing the Sun even before dawn:

That ardent debonair,

A mister that sneaks not in window pane,

But in our heads,

Romancing thoughts,

Seducing brain

Lingering in mind,

As it teases day and night.

In spirit with tomorrow and today. . .”

The Impact of Climate Change to the Future Generation

What are you most worried about for the future?

Storms are getting violent.

Corals are dying.

Seas and oceans are warmer and acidic.

Beaches and shores are eroding.

If it happened to dinosaurs,

Men’s extinction is plausible.

When a teacher can bring out the best in his/her students:

What makes a teacher great?

Sharp eyes for talents and abilities,

Compassionate ears for their situations and challenges,

Genuine concern for the students well-being—

And these are just few, there are a lot more

Ways to be a great teacher.

But their success likewise depends on the support of parents and families and the school of course.

Last, but not least, we have an educated society

because we the dedicated teachers, who give their best in their vocation.

Thank you teachers!

Everyday

What are your daily habits?

I pray.

I write.

I read news.

I blog.

I do at least one act of kindness

so as not to waste my day.

I see each day as an opportunity

to be a better person.

I seize the day.

Who Doesn’t Want To Live a Sustainable Life?

Are there things you try to practice daily to live a more sustainable lifestyle?

Do you know anyone? Truth is none. Perhaps only the bygone. Seriously, considering the complexity of life, a single approach doesn’t guarantee a sustainable living.

Holistically though, it may be doable. Regardless, you have to consider your logistics. And that’s what I am trying to do as I age.

I live frugally. I eat healthy. I walk daily. I love so passionately. So that when my time comes to join my creator—I would not be sorry.

Because, I am living my best life—as best as I can, making each day, by the hour, even minutes and seconds matter. Coz that’s the only way I can confidently face God, that I have cherished my borrowed my time and live a good life for His glory.

Caviar

What’s the most delicious thing you’ve ever eaten?

I only had it once; but I can never forget how good it was. I am wistful.

So one day, I tried to browse for the best ones. And to my amazement they were ranging from high three digits up to four to five digits.

From then on, Caviar—to me—is just a history like a love that never blossomed. Though heart broken, I am grateful, always grateful.
