Serendipity

What’s your favorite word?

In moments spun from threads unseen,
Where fate and chance weave in between,
A whispered breeze, a star’s soft fall,
Serendipity comes to call.

A glance, a touch, a fleeting word,
A song by winds of fortune stirred.
Two paths that never thought to meet
Now dance together, light and sweet.

A coin dropped once, a turn, a door,
Reveals a world unknown before.
With eyes wide open, hearts in flight,
Wishing to find what’s hidden in plain sight.

Then that time comes, so soft, so sweet indeed,
To two wandering souls by chance they meet, a no hand deed,
No plan, no map, no grand design,
Just hearts aligned, a perfect sign.

Like raindrops falling, soft and slow,
Or flowers where they didn’t sow,
The sweetest things, they come to be,
Not forced, but found so naturally.

A glance exchanged, a smile anew,
A path untraveled leads to something new.
What once was hidden now is clear,
Serendipity brought them near.

So there they are, without a clue,
But somehow they were meant for something true.
In all that’s simple, wild, and free,
Lives the magic of opportunity.

For magic lives in what they miss,
A sudden smile, an unplanned kiss.
The universe, with quiet grace,
Leads them to the perfect place.

So they trust the steps, the chance, they embraced,
The mystery time cannot erase.
For in the dance of life they see
The wonder of serendipity.
