Where, Where, Where Is He?

Taken @ Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco, California, May 20, 2024

A repost

Is it among those sparkling stars above;

something too majestic,

yet too high

for a human heart to reach?

Is it down there in the deepest sea,

hiding in corals of paler shades of pearl and deeper moss of green;

or too buried in the hallow salt and pepper sands

that only the bravest could feel?

Or is it treacherously hiding

in red-orange and yellow-gold streaks of the horizon,

too blazing

for the wistfully longing she?

Or maybe it’s the missing note

to the unfinished melody that she tearfully hums

as the sun goes down,

until her tears run dry
and she falls asleep?

But where?

Where,where,

where

is he?

Not Yet

Have you ever been camping?

But one night, I will.

I love to see the moon and the stars,

Where there’s no other source of light.

And after I gaze enough,

I would make a bonfire,

S ’mores and hot coco.

Then I would bring out the ukulele,

Play it

And sing Grow Old With You

Or and Wouldn’t it Be Nice.

Let the moon and the stars witness.

After I sing enough,

I would lay down with him,

Say a little prayer,

And bid goodnight

To the moon and the stars above.

A Lovely Day

Subject to fair use; Courtesy of Google Images.

At the top of hill

Surrounded by happy blooms,

Hovering b’flies,

And everything bright:

In a soft plush just for two,

were just me and you.

Biscuits, cheese, tea and

You—of course, yours is sweeter. . .

Heavenly! Being with you.

You’re the Mona Lisa of the night sky

You’re the lady in white men and women alike

Have amused themselves

Of your beauty and mystery

You’re bold

Yet you’re never shy

And never lewd

Stars are plenty

But they can’t be compared to you;

They’re not mesmerizing as you

Few men have tried

And did conquer you

And yet

They still know so little of you

Luna, Mona Lisa of the night sky

I’m in awe of you

And I’m wondering

If he’s staring at you too.

The Beauty of One’s Soul

Let your inner good shines.

T starts with beautiful thoughts

Turned into kind deeds, warm gestures,

and noble acts

That though the mirror

Can’t capture such beauty,

It humbly touches another,

Leaving fond remembrances

And tender mementos.

The Joy of Spring

See the cottony sky in blue,

And the velvety green grasses kissed by dews

Surrounded by georgette blooms in varying hues,

And their fragrances are filling the air too.

While the nesting song birds sing doo bee doo doo

All here for the joy of spring and

Chilly winter is through.
