Definitely, there would be advancement. Take for example the presence of artificial intelligence (AI). Also, our fondness and heavy reliance on smart phones. Likewise, the invincible role of Internet in our lives. Those make computer even more indispensable.

Imagining our lives without computer is unrealistic and borderline hypocrisy. You can take a break from it, but to shun its presence and significance, is not viable.
