Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?
I remember,
the many afternoons with my father,
when I have to read and learn
about the earth and the solar system,
different animals, and plants.
I have to read aloud
and he would correct my pronunciation;
He would also add his input as often as he can.
It resulted to me
earning straight A from grade school to college
in Science, Math, and English.
But with all honesty,
what truly mattered to me,
were the tender moments with my father.
He passed away when I was twelve,
But I benefited from his legacy as a parent—
And that is, not to limit myself with what the
Schools provide
And to read and learn voraciously.
Fantastic 👏

He was a lawyer Carolyn. He did a lot of pro bono in his lifetime. But as a parent, yes, his legacy how I and my siblings value education especially reading and learning. Many thanks!
